The incident happened at about 3:23 p.m. on E Montecito Street and N Quarantina Street.

According to reports, the crash involved a black Honda Pilot traveling north and a red Cannondale bike riding east.

According to reports, the driver of the Honda completely went over the front wheel of the bicycle. As a result, both carbon blades of the fork were broken, and the rim was tacoed. Then, the impact ejected the rider to the ground moderately injuring the cyclist, especially one leg.

Meanwhile, the authorities described the driver as a tall white male adult, weighing about 210 lbs. with a mustache and trimmed beard.

Reports said that the driver briefly got out of the Honda Pilot and then fled the scene.

Reports said that the hit-and-run driver was wearing a safety vest with a local construction company’s name on it.
