Injuries Reported in Oceanside Vehicle Crash on Mission Avenue and Roymar Road
OCEANSIDE, CA (August 14, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a police officer suffered injuries in a startling auto accident on Mission Avenue and Roymar Road.
The incident happened at around 9:15 a.m. on Mission Avenue and Roymar Road.
As officers responded to an earlier crash, an oncoming Toyota Corolla failed to yield at a red light and crashed into the cruiser.
As a result, responders transported the Oceanside officer and the driver of the Corolla to hospitals for treatment of minor and moderately serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t clarified whether intoxication played a role in the accident.
