CHP Officer Involved in Hesperia Vehicle Crash on Main Street near E Avenue

HESPERIA, CA (September 16, 2024) – Sunday morning, a startling auto accident on Main Street near E Avenue injured 1 person.

The crash between a California Highway Patrol vehicle Dodge Charger and a silver Chevrolet Trax around 11:10 a.m. on Main Street near E Avenue.

A CHP officer was speeding along Main St. without lights or sirens when a Chevy driver, turning left into a Burger King parking lot from the center turn lane, collided with the officer’s vehicle.

Both cars sustained significant damage and came to rest on the sidewalk. While the CHP officer was unharmed, the driver of the Chevy suffered minor injuries.
