HOUSTON, TX (November 23, 2023) – Tuesday night, a startling auto accident on Katy Freeway and Highway 6 injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 11:15 p.m., on Katy Freeway, just before Highway 6.

According to reports, an 18-wheeler struck a vehicle with a female driver inside. After the crash, the woman was trapped inside of her car.

Officers revealed that the big rig struck the back of her car sending her from the main lanes to the left shoulder.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
