1 Arrested after San Antonio DUI Accident on Northwest Loop 410 West
SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 29, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a startling 3-car crash on Northwest Loop 410 West injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 1:40 a.m. in the 4400 block of Northwest Loop 410 West.
According to reports, the victim drove a red Pontiac in the right lane. Then, the driver stopped in front of a parked vehicle.
However, a white Chrysler struck the Pontiac from behind when it stopped. Then, the Pontiac was pushed into the stationary vehicle which crashed into the center median.
Then, the Chrysler went into the center lane where it was struck by a black Mercedes.
After the crash, the victim sustained a broken arm and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested the driver of the black Mercedes for Driving While Intoxicated.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
