Injuries Reported in Waco Auto Accident near Tinsley Road and University Parks Drive
WACO, TX (January 15, 2024) – Sunday morning, a startling 2-car crash near Tinsley Road and University Parks Drive sent 5 people to hospital.
The incident happened at about 10:00 a.m. near Tinsley Road and University Parks Drive, said the Downsville VFD.
According to reports, the Downsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Robinson Volunteer Fire Department both came to the scene to assist.
Downsville VFD added that they utilized the jaws of life to free one person from one of the vehicles.
The Robinson VFD also gave a second jaws of life to assist in rescuing that same person.
Officers confirmed that the crash involved five people and all of them were transported to a nearby hospital.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
