Stanley Summers of Hemet Killed in Mayberry Avenue Motorcycle Collision [Hemet, CA]

Hemet, CA (June 30, 2023) – On Wednesday, 69-year-old Stanley Summers of Hemet was killed in a Mayberry Avenue motorcycle collision.

The fatal collision unfolded at about 6:20 p.m. in the 43000 block area.

According to the authorities, a white Honda Civic driven by a 56-year-old man was westbound on Mayberry Avenue toward Pleasant Street. At the same time, Stanley Summers, the motorcyclist, was eastbound on Mayberry Avenue also approaching Pleasant Street.

The Civic driver was making a left turn on Pleasant Street when it collided with the motorcycle ejecting Summers who died at the scene.

The Honda Civic driver, on the other hand, was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Investigating officers believe neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the Hemet traffic collision.

Officers are investigating.
