1 Person Killed in Lassen County Auto Accident on Standish Buntingville Road near Lakecrest Road

LASSEN COUNTY, CA (September 17, 2023) – On Saturday, Stacie Sisson sustained injuries in a devastating two-vehicle crash on Standish Buntingville Road.

The incident happened on Standish Buntingville Road approaching the intersection with Lakecrest Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a truck and Polaris RZR collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash ejected the Polaris RZR and one of its passengers to the roadway.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the Polaris RZR, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the Polaris passenger, Sisson, to Renown Medical Center, with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
