SPD Searching Suspect in Southwest Spokane Street Fatal Crash
Seattle, WA (July 16, 2022) On Friday evening, a 63-year-old bicyclist died in a hit-and-run accident near Southwest Spokane Street.
Reports say that the fatal crash happened at about 7 p.m. near Southwest Klickitat Avenue Southwest.
Seattle police say that a white or silver sedan hit a bicyclist and the driver fled the scene.
Rescuers attempted to save the bicyclist’s life, but the man succumbed to his injuries. Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Moreover, police closed both directions of the Spokane Street Bridge during the investigation. Reports say that the authorities have reopened the bridge since.
