According to the Temple Police Department (TPD), the horrific crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of Southwest H.K. Dodge Loop.

Reports say that the 19-year-old pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Temple.

Officials say that the driver, operating a 2007 Honda CRV, hit the pedestrian in the middle of the roadway.
