According to the Tacoma Police Department (TPD) says that the vehicular-assault incident happened at 7:21 a.m. on Tacoma Avenue South.
Reports say that 2 men at a Pierce County homeless encampment got into an argument. One of the men drove a vehicle at the other person.
Consequently, the incident led to a 28-year-old woman getting trapped beneath the van. Tacoma Fire extricated the trapped woman.
Paramedics transported the patient to the hospital, she sustained serious injuries.
