Sophia Torres Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Serrano Parkway [El Dorado Hills, CA]

El Dorado Hills, CA (August 06, 2022) – On August 1, Sophia Torres, an El Dorado Hills teenager, lost her life after a pedestrian accident on Serrano Parkway.

The fatal crash happened on July 12 when Torres went out for a jog and was hit by a car.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed her by ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center with a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The medical specialists performed several surgeries on Torres.

However, on August 1, Sophia Torres succumbed to her injuries.

According to the investigators, Torres was supposed to start her freshman year of high school.  Also, Torres played soccer for the San Juan Soccer Club based in Rancho Cordova.
