How to Handle Fatal Pedestrian Accident Cases

While car accidents are far more common than pedestrian accidents, there is still reason to be wary when traveling on foot.
Moreover, pedestrians aged 65 and older accounted for 20% of all pedestrian deaths and an estimated 10% of all pedestrian injuries in 2017.

In the case of Sonia Martinez’s pedestrian crash, the family of the victim must become aware of their rights under the law.

“Pedestrian accidents do not occur as much as motor vehicle accidents. However, the pedestrian accidents tend to include more serious injuries, even fatal injuries,” says Tyler Toomey, a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers.

Thus, the victim’s loved ones must know they can take power amidst this tragic situation.
