Somerville Man James Jolly Dies in Collision on FM 60 [Brazos County, TX]

Multi-Vehicle Crash on FM 60 Results in Fatality

Brazos County, TX (October 12, 2024) James Jolly, 69, of Somerville, was fatally injured in a collision on FM 60 Thursday night.

It was past 8:20 p.m. on October 10 when the deadly motorcycle crash happened near Vincent Road.

Investigating officers said a driver of a westbound 2012 Toyota Corolla on FM 60 made a U-turn. 

James Jolly on his motorcycle was also traveling west when he struck the Corolla. Jolly was thrown from his motorcycle and was hit by an eastbound pickup truck.

A Brazos County Justice of the Peace declared James Jolly deceased at the scene. 

The other drivers were not injured in the collision.
