Injuries reported in HWY 36 Fatal Crash
Burleson County, TX (April 16, 2024) – A senior student at Somerville High School was killed in a Highway 36 collision early Monday morning.
It was about 6:10 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened south of Caldwell.
The accident report noted that three juveniles who all attend Somerville Elementary School were hospitalized due to serious injuries.
The mother of the student who was killed was also involved in the collision. She is an employee of the school district.
“We have counselors on hand today at the high school for those needing to speak with someone during this difficult time,” said Somerville ISD Superintendent Eric Holton.
