Injuries Reported in Tragic Single-Vehicle Crash on Sunnymead Boulevard

Moreno Valley, CA (March 29, 2024) On Thursday, a male passenger was killed while 3 others were hurt in a horrific solo-vehicle crash on Perris Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the tragic single-vehicle crash happened at about 1 a.m. at Perris Boulevard and Sunnymead Boulevard.

Reports say that a southbound Kia K900 was being driven recklessly when the driver lost control of the Kia and crashed into 2 parked vehicles.

Authorities say that the crash trapped 3 passengers, and rescuers extricated the trapped victims. Meanwhile, officers were able to detain the driver.

Officials say that the passengers were transported to Riverside University Medical Center with major injuries. Moreover, officials say that the right front seat passenger ultimately succumbed to their injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.

CHP is investigating the horrific crash and has not released additional information at this time.
