Gilbert, AZ (October 26, 2023) – On Thursday morning, one person sustained injuries in a solo vehicle crash on Loop 202.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash was reported just before 11:30 a.m. on the Loop 202 San Tan freeway near Lindsey Road.

A dark vehicle appeared to have rolled after hitting a center barrier, according to video from the scene. 

The passenger had to be rescued from the vehicle and was taken to a nearby hospital with significant injuries, but no information on the driver has been given at this time.
