Horrific Solo-Vehicle Crash on Jamboree Road Hurts 2 People [Newport Beach, CA]

Two Injured in Fiery SUV Crash on Jamboree Road in Newport Beach

Newport Beach, CA (November 26, 2024) On Sunday morning, 2 people were hurt and hospitalized after a fiery solo-vehicle crash on Jamboree Road.

According to authorities, the SUV accident happened at about 1 a.m. in Newport Beach.

Reports say that 2 people escaped serious injury after a dramatic crash in Newport Beach early Sunday morning.

Around 1 a.m., an SUV traveling southbound on Jamboree Road collided with two light poles before crashing into a tree. The impact was so severe that it separated the vehicle’s engine compartment from the SUV’s main body.

First responders arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished a fire in the engine compartment. The SUV’s occupants had managed to exit the vehicle and were found sitting on the curb. Both were transported to a hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
