Woman Involved in DUI Accident in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 24, 2018) – Early Monday morning, a woman was involved in a solo car accident. Her identity has yet to be disclosed to the public.

Officials stated that the crash happened just after 4:00 AM at the intersection of Coffee Road and 7th Standard Road.

As per reports, the unidentified woman was driving down Coffee Road when she tried to make a right turn onto 7th Standard Road and hit a power pole in the northwest side of Bakersfield.

CHP stated she was driving too fast to navigate the turn. The power company was called out to the scene and repair the power pole which caused two intersections to go out.

The driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. CHP said no one was hurt.
