Injuries Sustained in Solo-Car Accident on 405 Freeway [Bellevue, WA]

Injuries in Single Car Crash in Bellevue

 
BELLEVUE, WA (January 29, 2019) – The driver of a vehicle was injured in a solo-car accident on the 405 Freeway Tuesday afternoon.
 
State troopers reported the crash occurred before 1:00 PM on the 405 Freeway just south of 8th Street.
 
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene and had to extricate the driver from the vehicle. Due to the collision, the car had flipped onto its right side into the embankment. There was no other vehicles known to be involved at this time.
 
Minor injuries were reported from the accident. The occupants identity or medical status has not been disclosed.
 
The left two lanes on the 405 Freeway were blocked which caused traffic to be backed up as far as State Route 520 interchange.
 
There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
