Passenger Injured in DUI Crash on Soscol Avenue, Sofia Elena Quinones Arrested
Napa, CA (July 9, 2021) – Police arrested a driver after a DUI crash on Soscol Avenue that left a passenger hospitalized on Monday night.
The incident took place on July 5 on Soscol Avenue at about 8:56 p.m.
According to Sgt. Aaron Medina, the driver identified as Sofia Elena Quinones, 22, a resident of Napa was going from Sousa Lane into Soscol Avenue. Then, an oncoming vehicle suddenly crashed into her vehicle.
As a result, the passenger in Quinones’ vehicle sustained minor injuries. Medina said medics transported the patient to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Meanwhile, the driver of the other involved vehicle did not sustain any injuries from the collision.
Later, police arrested Quinones for suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury. Authorities booked her into the Napa County jail.
