Skateboard Accident on Farmers Lane in Santa Rosa
SANTA ROSA, CA (August 7, 2019) – An unidentified skateboarder was hospitalized Wednesday evening after colliding with a vehicle in Santa Rosa.
The skateboarder was crossing Farmers Lane, just south of Rock Creek Drive, about 10:00 p.m. when he was struck.
When officers arrived, the skateboarder was lying in the middle of the roadway. Paramedics responded and took him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
He was listed in stable condition Thursday at the hospital, according to police.
It’s unclear whether the victim was riding the skateboard or carrying it when the collision occurred. Police described him as a light-skinned black man in his 20s.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
