VISALIA, CA (May 6, 2021) – Tuesday night, a teen skateboarder died in a crash on Road 80 and Highway 201 in Visalia.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. along Road 80 and Highway 201.
 
Reports revealed that as an 18-year-old skateboarder traveled in the lanes, a passing pick-up truck hit the teenager.
 
As a result, responders pronounced the teenager dead at the scene.
 
Also, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the crash site to cooperate with the authorities.
 
Meanwhile, CHP closed the northbound and the southbound lanes of Road 80 for two hours to give way to the investigation.
 
Moreover, authorities did not make any arrests as of this moment.
