Children Injured in Sylmar Multi-Vehicle Crash
Sylmar, CA (May 24, 2024) – Eight people were injured following a West Hubbard Street collision Thursday afternoon.
It was before 3 p.m. when the multi-vehicle collision happened in the 14900 block of W Hubbard Street, at a three-way intersection. Troopers said at least four vehicles were involved and one of them overturned.
Officers stated that although seatbelts were used, some of the children were not properly restrained and no child car seats were used. Officers also said at least two children were sharing one seatbelt.
The medical team rushed two adults to hospitals in serious condition while four children between the ages of 6 and 12 were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
Two other people refused to be transported to hospitals.
