Alhambra, CA (November 19, 2021) – On Thursday, six people sustained injuries in a vehicle crashes through Chengdu Taste restaurant.

The crash happened at 1:25 p.m. at 828 West Valley Boulevard.

Officers said the driver was making a left turn onto eastbound Valley Boulevard. However, the driver pressed on the gas instead of the break.

As a result, the vehicle veered onto the sidewalk and through the restaurant’s front window.

Immediately, the rescuers took three people inside the restaurant to a trauma center with serious injuries.

Officers said the other three injured people sustained minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the authorities closed Valley Boulevard between Atlantic Boulevard and Seventh Street as they investigated.
