Six Injured in Pursuit Crash on Spring Street [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (September 2, 2024) – Six people were injured in a pursuit crash on Spring Street Saturday afternoon.

The authorities received the two-vehicle crash report at 4:52 p.m. at the 1220 block of N Spring St., next to Los Angeles State Historic Park.

Two people were trapped and were rescued by firefighters using hydraulic tools.

It was about 4:46 p.m. when the officers received a report about a man with a gun at Soto Street and Michigan Avenue. The authorities immediately responded but It ended with a crash into a vehicle sending the other car careening into a wall.

Three of the patients occupants in a gray BMW the authorities were chasing.

There is no information which vehicle or vehicles the trapped patients were riding.

Troopers are investigating.
