4 People Hurt in Whiskeytown Auto Accident on John F Kennedy Memorial Drive near Brandy Creek
WHISKEYTOWN, CA (November 10, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, an alarming single-vehicle crash on John F Kennedy Memorial Drive injured four people.
The incident happened on a dirt road off of John F Kennedy Memorial Drive towards Brandy Creek in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.
According to reports, a jeep got too close to the edge for still unknown reasons and crashed down an embankment off of the dirt road.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the jeep and three passengers of the vehicle to a hospital with moderate injuries. Also, authorities said that three of the patients were airlifted from the scene.
The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
Due to limited information, the California Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
