1 Person Dead in Grand Prairie Auto Accident on 4400 E Jefferson Street

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (June 4, 2024)– Saturday night, a tragic single-vehicle crash on 4400 E Jefferson Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:45 p.m. in the 4400 block of E. Jefferson Street.

According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, an eastbound Scion passenger car lost control for still unknown reasons and crashed into a cement bridge cap.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported two passengers of the vehicle to a local hospital with serious injuries. 

Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Grand Prairie Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
