Single-Car Accident on Road V-Northeast Injures Teens [Hartline, WA]

Hartline, WA (August 29, 2023) On Saturday evening, 3 teenagers were hurt after a single-car accident on Road V-Northeast.

According to authorities, the single-vehicle crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 46000 block of Road V-Northeast.

Reports say that southbound a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 16-year-old, veered to the left of the center line, forcing the teen to overcorrect to the right and leading the vehicle to roll over.

Officials say that the crash injured the driver who was taken by an ambulance to Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee. Meanwhile, the 2 other teenage passengers suffered more serious injuries, a 16-year-old Hartline male passenger was thrown out of the vehicle, while a 17-year-old Coulee Dam boy sustained critical injuries.

Both injured passengers were airlifted to Providence-Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Authorities are investigating the probable cause of the single-vehicle crash.
