1 Detained after Wenatchee Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 28 and Nile Avenue
WENATCHEE, WA (June 1, 2021) – Sunday night, a DUI crash on Highway 28 hurt Silvia Garcia and led to the arrest of Rosalino Ramirez Osorio.
According to reports, Rosalino Ramirez Osorio drove a 2013 Toyota Tundra south on Nile Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Then, he didn’t yield to a stop sign on Highway 28, south of Hydro Park.
Then, 32-year-old Silvia Garcia of Pasco driving a westbound 2013 Ford C-Max struck Osorio’s vehicle.
Afterward, Osorio escaped the crash scene. However, the authorities apprehended him a short time later on Highway 28.
As a result, 47-year-old Osorio from East Wenatchee faces charges of DUI and hit-and-run.
Meanwhile, Silvia Garcia sustained minor scrapes. However, she didn’t require hospitalization.
