Silverado Trail Head-On Collision Kills 1 Injures 5 [Yountville, CA]

CHP Investigates Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash on Silverado Trail

Yountville, CA (June 9, 2024) On Saturday afternoon, a person was killed and 5 others were hurt in the Silverado Trail head-on collision.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the tragic crash happened at about 4:20 p.m. in front of Silverado Vineyards at 6121 Silverado Trail, between Oak Knoll and Yountville Cross Road.

Reports say that a vehicle with 4 occupants crossed into the opposing lane and collided with a vehicle that had 2 occupants.

Officials say that a person was killed and 5 people were hurt and officials say that the driver of the southbound vehicle fled the scene on foot and is still at large.

Authorities are investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash and have not released further information at this time.
