76-Year-Old Hospitalized after Accident on Intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Molino Avenue
SIGNAL HILL, CA (March 20, 2018) – Around Tuesday night around 9 PM, a pedestrian was critically injured in a crash on the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Molino Avenue.
Police officials and Long Beach City Fire personnel arrived at the scene of the crash to find the victim lying in the roadway. The 76-year-old victim sustained critical injuries and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The westbound lanes of PCH were closed and traffic was diverted at Temple Avenue, while authorities investigated the scene. They believe that drugs and/ or alcohol may have been contributing factors in the collision.
