Ambulance Responds to Mission Valley Crash on Interstate 8 and State Route 163

 
MISSION VALLEY, CA (January 27, 2021) – Tuesday morning, authorities issued a SigAlert after a an accident on Interstate 8 and State Route 163.
 
The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 8 connector ramp to southbound State Route 163.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a Ford F150 pickup truck, a Honda sedan, and possibly a third vehicle.
 
As a result of the crash, the vehicles were disabled in the left lane of the connector ramp. Also, one of the vehicles caught fire.
 
Also, authorities requested an ambulance to the scene. However, they haven’t clarified whether a person was hospitalized.
 
At about 8:40 a.m., authorities issued a SigAlert that closed the westbound Interstate 8 connector ramp to southbound SR-163 for around 45 minutes.
 
It is unknown at this time if anyone sustained injuries in the Mission Valley accident.
