Sierra Deborah Waters Dies in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Tanque Verde Road in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (April 25, 2022) – On Sunday evening, 51-year-old Sierra Deborah Waters, died in a crash on Tanque Verde Road.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident in Tucson happened at around 8:15 p.m. on April 24, on the 7100 block of East Tanque Verde Road.
Tucson Police said Waters tried to cross Tanque Verde Road from south to north when a silver 2002 Toyota Prius struck her.
The driver immediately stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
EMS transported Waters to St. Joseph’s Hospital where she later died.
Investigators said the driver was impaired at the time of the incident.
Further investigation is underway.
