21-Year-Old Los Olivos Woman Identified as Driver Killed in Solo Crash near Highway 154
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (June 18, 2019) – Authorities identified 21-year-old Sienna Diaz-Tremper of Los Olivos as the woman killed in a solo crash near Highway 154, early Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened in the 4100 block of Figueroa Mountain Road, at about 5:30 PM. A Toyota Corolla made an unsafe turning movement, causing Diaz-Tremper to lose control of the vehicle. Then, the vehicle fell down an embankment before rolling over.
Unfortunately, Diaz-Tremper died at the scene. Meanwhile, her 22-year-old passenger suffered major injuries and was rushed to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities encourage witnesses to contact CHP at (805) 688-5551 as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
