Sidney Carpenter Fatally Struck in Clovis

 
Clovis, CA (November 29, 2021) – On Saturday, 57-year-old Sidney Carpenter of Clovis sustained fatal injuries in a Bullard Avenue accident.
 
The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 7:00 p.m. east of Temperance Avenue.
 
When the officers arrived, they pronounced Carpenter dead at the scene.
 
Investigating officers said Carpenter appeared to be crossing Bullard Avenue outside of a crosswalk when an eastbound driver struck him.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the officers throughout the investigation.
 
Officers said they do not suspect drugs and/or alcohol to be a factor in this fatal accident.
