Shirley Fraley Dead in Tragic Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 63 [Macon County, MO]

2 People Hospitalized in Macon County Auto Accident on Highway 63

MACON COUNTY, MO (October 31, 2024) – Tuesday night, Shirley Fraley died in a tragic two-vehicle crash on Highway 63.

The incident happened at around 7:24 p.m. on Highway 63.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2012 Chrysler Town and Country collided with a 2020 GMC Yukon that was backing out of a private driveway.

Moreover, responders rushed a passenger of the 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, identified as 79-year-old Fraley, to Samaritan Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the GMC, identified as 55-year-old Sandra Williams, and the driver of the Chrysler, identified as 53-year-old Dewayne Fraley, to a hospital, both with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued to investigate the crash.
