Sheryl Ricco of Midland Killed in Vehicle Collision on Highway 191 [Midland, TX]

Midland, TX (June 30, 2023) – On Thursday afternoon, Sheryl Ricco, 67, of Midland, died following a vehicle collision on Highway 191.

The Midland Police Department responded at about 12:30 p.m. at County Road 1275 and declares Ricco dead.

An initial investigation stated that Ricco was driving a Hyundai 4-door passenger car westbound on the highway. Her car was stopped over the County Road 1275 overpass while being rerouted onto the service road because of another wreck.

Another Ford F250 pickup driver got to the top of the overpass and couldn’t stop. The vehicle collided with Ricco’s vehicle.

In the meantime, officers are investigating the Midland deadly traffic collision.
