SHERMAN OAKS, CA – Man Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near 405 Freeway

Pickup Truck and Sedan Collide on Highway 101 in Sherman Oaks Leaving One Injured

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (March 5, 2019) – A man was hurt following a two-vehicle collision late Tuesday evening on northbound Highway 101, just north of 405 Freeway.
 
The collision happened around 11:48 p.m. involving a black pickup truck and a silver Acura sedan.
 
While the cause of the crash is unknown, the sedan was reportedly facing the wrong way on the road. The vehicle sustained major right side damage. In addition, the pickup truck sustained major front damage.
 
A male occupant in one of the vehicles was taken by ambulance to a hospital with a complaint of pain to the chest.
 
Both damaged vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
 
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
