OCOTILLO, CA (September 14, 2022) – On Friday, a sheriff’s deputy sustained injuries in an Interstate 8 multi-vehicle crash in Ocotillo.
 
According to the authorities, the incident happened on Interstate 8, west of Ocotillo.
 
Reports revealed that multiple vehicles, including a deputy’s patrol unit, crashed down an embankment during a storm.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that the deputy was among the drivers that were taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
