According to the police report, the deputy conducted a traffic stop on a suspect with an outstanding warrant.

Luckily, the deputy only suffered minor injuries and is in a non-life-threatening condition.

It Can Happen To Anybody

In today’s current state of affairs, more people are filling the streets, with this, the likelihood of accidents increases. Accidents are indiscriminate, and can happen to virtually anyone.

While car accidents are more common, there is still reason to be wary when traveling on foot. “Pedestrian accidents do not occur as much as motor vehicle accidents, but the pedestrian accidents tend to include more serious injuries,” says Tyler Toomey, a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers. “Some of the worst pedestrian incidents involve minors because they are sometimes hard to see and they also ride bikes, skateboards, etc. Common locations for these pedestrian incidents include shopping center entrances and street corners.”
