Officer Injured in Motorcycle-Vehicle Crash on I-10 overpass on Cook Street
Palm Desert, CA (April 08, 2022) On Wednesday, a traffic collision on Interstate 10 injured a Riverside County Sheriff’s deputy.
Authorities say that the collision happened around 6:30 a.m. along the I-10 overpass on Cook Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a motorcycle and another vehicle collided prompting officials to close the eastbound Cook Street off-ramp.
Paramedics took the injured deputy to a hospital, his injuries are non-life-threatening.
The CHP requested t have the off-ramp closed indefinitely.
