Injury in US Highway 101
Mason County, WA (August 06, 2021) – On Thursday, a 59-year-old Shelton woman suffered injuries in US Highway 101 crash.
It was about 7:15 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash took place near Shelton.
Officers say a 31-year-old Shelton man, driving a red Ford Escape drifted into the left lane of the highway where the vehicle struck several posts and the highway’s cable barrier.
Subsequently, the Ford driver swerved his vehicle back into the right lane and struck the vehicle driven by the Shelton woman.
Immediately, emergency responder took the injured Shelton woman by ambulance to Mason General Hospital.
On the other hand, officers said the Shelton man faces a possible charge of second-degree negligent driving.
Moreover, both of the vehicles were totaled and were towed away from the scene.
