Police Seek the Driver after Hit-And-Run Crash on State Route 101 in Mason County
Mason County, WA (January 6, 2022) – Wednesday night, a 57-year-old Shelton man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 101.
The hit-and-run crash in Mason County happened at around 9:30 p.m. on January 5, near West Dayton Airport Road.
WSP said they found two vehicles in the area but only one driver. The Shelton man was driving a 2013 Ford F150 in the southbound lane of State Route 102 when the driver of a northbound 2006 Ford F150 crossed the centerline.
The other driver then fled the scene near Sanderson Field.
Aid transported the Shelton man to Mason General Hospital with injuries
Investigators said the driver of the other vehicle fled on foot.
No other information is immediately available.
Further investigation is ongoing.
