Shelli Ross Loses Life in Highway 49 Two-Vehicle Collision [El Dorado, CA]

El Dorado, CA (July 14, 2022) – On Wednesday, Shelli Ross, 53, of Placerville, sustained fatal injuries in a Highway 49 two-vehicle collision.

The fatal crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. near China Hill Road.

According to the investigators, Shelli Ross was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer on the freeway when her vehicle collided with a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta driven by an El Dorado woman. 

The Explorer flipped over and the impact of the collision ejected Ross out of the vehicle.

Sadly, the responding officers declared Shelli Ross dead at the scene.

In the meantime, officers are still investigating the cause of the crash near China Hill Road.
