44-Year-Old San Diego Woman Fatally Injured in Multi-Vehicle Pileup near Dairy Mart Road
SAN YSIDRO, CA (November 5, 2018) – A woman was killed late Monday evening following a multi-car pileup near Dairy Mart Road off-ramp. The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Shella Pagsanjan, a resident of San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 6:20 PM on Interstate 5. A Dodge Ram 1500 slammed into the rear of a Mercedes coupe, that was operated by Pagsanjan.
Three other vehicles – a BMW sedan, a Hyundai SUV and a Toyota Tacoma, became involved in the collision.

Updates on his current medical condition were not provided.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
