2 Dead in Phoenix Motorcycle Accident near 39th Avenue and Camelback Road
PHOENIX, AZ (November 1, 2021) – Saturday evening, Shawn Stokes and Diana Fletes died in a motorcycle crash near 39th Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 9:15 p.m. near 39th Avenue and Camelback Road.
Upon the authorities’ arrival, they discovered that a man drove a motorcycle and collided with a car. Moreover, reports confirmed that a man, a woman, and a teen girl occupied the car.
As a result, the male rider and female passenger of the motorcycle both died at the scene.
The authorities identified them as 30-year-old male Shawn Stokes and 46-year-old Diana Fletes. Meanwhile, two people in the car suffered minor injuries.
The authorities continue to investigate the crash. However, the police believe that the motorcyclist’s speed played a role in the crash.
