Kern County, CA (April 15, 2021) -Thursday morning, a fatal head-on crash between a white pickup truck and a big rig on Highway 14 left Shawn Brown dead.
 
The Highway 14 fatal semi-truck crash happened at around 6:45 a.m. on April 15.
 
CHP and other local agencies responded on Highway 14, just south of the Highway 178 West intersection.
 
Later reports revealed that Shawn Brown, 52, of Palmdale, died in the accident.
 
Investigators said the big-rig jackknifed after the collision, and traffic had slowed because of large amounts of debris on the roadway.
 
Further investigation into this fatal big rig accident is ongoing.
