Man Killed in Suspected Street-Racing Crash in Mission Hills Identified
MISSION HILLS, CA (August 6, 2019) – Authorities identified 32-year-old Shaun Arlen Sotto of Mission Hills as the driver killed in a suspected street-racing accident along Woodman Avenue, Tuesday evening.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened shortly before 10:00 PM. A 1994 Mazda and another white sedan were racing in the area of Devonshire Street when the Mazda slammed into a parked 2007 GMC Yukon.
Emergency responders pronounced Sotto dead at the scene. His passenger suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. Meanwhile, the driver of the other sedan fled the area.
