Shanti Rhodes Second Woman Killed Tuesday Evening in Car Crash in Potrero Hill
San Francisco, CA (May 26, 2020) – Authorities identified Shanti Rhodes, 32, as the second fatality in Tuesday evening’s crash in the Potrero Hill Neighborhood.
Previously, Angelique Starks, 28, became identified as the first casualty of the crash.
The incident occurred at 7:21 PM Tuesday in the 25th and Dakota Street area.
Both women were the passengers of a silver Nissan SUV. The vehicle plowed through a fence, zoomed down a hill and crashed into a parking lot.
Police pronounced Ms. Starks dead on the spot, while Rhodes ultimately died at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
A third unidentified man in the SUV was also injured during the crash, but police reports say he is in a less critical situation.
The police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
